Montefiore Investment stood out at the Private Equity Exchange 2023 by winning two Gold Awards: “Best French Small & Lower Mid-Market LBO Fund” and “Best Fundraising & Investor Relations.”
These distinctions, awarded by an international jury of LPs, recognize the firm’s outstanding performance and achievements over the past year.
The jury members highlighted several points in their decision.
First, the consistency and continuity of Montefiore’s performance, which places the firm among the best in Europe in its segment.
Second, the firm impressed with its ability to raise capital quickly for two of its new investment vehicles: MI Expansion, closed at €450 million, and MI VI, which is approaching its €1.4 billion hard cap. This achievement was supported by the renewed confidence of existing investors as well as new partners.
In less than a year, Montefiore also completed five new investments and carried out four full or partial exits, illustrating its strong momentum in the market. The firm’s success also relies on the excellence of its team, which now includes more than 50 professionals based in France and Italy.
With these two new awards, Montefiore Investment reaches an impressive total of 20 distinctions over 12 years, further consolidating its position as a leader in the European mid-market.
